Ken is regarded as a trusted adviser to individuals and businesses experiencing financial problems.
Having worked in the industry for over 30 years, he can recognise and remedy the signs of a struggling business, working with you to achieve the best possible outcome for your situation. His experience as a qualified Insolvency Practitioner spans a wide range of industries including pharmaceutical, logistics, construction, retail and professional service providers.
As a qualified Insolvency Practitioner, Vanessa’s skills are centred around the people she is trying to help.
She passionately believes that people create business and through effective communication, ensures positive solutions are achieved. Her down-to-earth, personable yet professional approach to clients‘ needs is achieved through providing practical advice, in a way which is easy to understand and allows the client to fully engage with the process being advised.
Having worked within bookkeeping and accountancy roles for 17 years, Thea has decided to use her broader experience and specialise in insolvency, recently joining the team at IRL.
She carries out the forensic analysis of client books and records, prepares statutory reports for the Insolvency Service and looks after the day to day running of the client accounts post-insolvency.
Having worked in the insolvency industry for over 20 years, Sharon has amassed the skills and knowledge to manage IRL in the most effective way possible. She supports the team in their endeavours to extend accurate and practical advice to those suffering financial distress and ensures our service offering is accessible to all.
Sharon undertakes all marketing activities, both traditional and digital, to help potential clients understand what it is we do and how we can help. Our approach to insolvency is one of empathy and understanding and she works hard to ensure clients feel comfortable when seeking help and her cohesive approach allows IRL to deliver the best possible outcome for under-performing businesses.
Jo has worked in insolvency for over 18 years following a short career in law.
She started her career in insolvency at PWC and has held senior positions with Grant Thornton, BDO Stoy Hayward and UHY Hacker Young.
Jo provides technical and compliance services as well as full suites of documentation to ensure full compliance within all aspects of insolvency. Her principal role is to ensure full compliance and ongoing technical knowledge to the team, in order to meet all regulatory and technical standards.
James has worked in the IT sector for over 20 years and is a qualified Microsoft Certified System Engineer.
He is responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of our computer systems by utilising the best solutions in the marketplace as well as managing the full integrity and security of our IT infrastructure and the implementation, should it be necessary, of our disaster recovery programme.
James also assists our clients with regards to forensic reviews, back up and storage and general maintenance and development.
Robert is a Chartered Accountant and has worked in private practice for over 30 years.
He specialises in all aspects of accountancy services and provides tailored advice in relation to the preparation of accounts, tax returns, payroll and compliance with RTI and pension auto-enrolment procedures. He is also experienced in financial modelling and investigatory services and offers these to the firm’s client base.
